About the position

We are seeking a dedicated, personable, and friendly Concierge to join our team at a senior assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for residents, family members, healthcare providers, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and support. This role requires strong communication skills, time management abilities, and a passion for guest services, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests, providers, and residents warmly and provide assistance with any request.
  • Report maintenance work and handle package and food delivery.
  • Offer information about facilities, booking transportation, and other services.
  • Manage guest requests efficiently, including reservations for restaurants, transportation, and activities.
  • Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all guest inquiries are addressed promptly.
  • Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while providing information or taking messages.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfill residents' needs and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
  • Stay informed about local events and attractions to provide guests with up-to-date recommendations.
  • Assist with other resident and facility activities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk or concierge role within a hotel, resort, assisted living, independent living, hospital, or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting processes and customer service, including handling complaints.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professionalism.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Fluent and proficient in computer use, internet searching, and Microsoft applications.
