About the position
Penhall Company is forming several crews for a large project in Indianapolis, IN, and is seeking skilled Concrete Cutters to join our team. As a Concrete Cutter, you will be responsible for core drilling, concrete sawing, cutting, and removal of concrete. This position requires proficiency in using various tools such as wall saws, core drills, and flat saws. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete cutting and be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. You will be expected to work full-time, with shifts available in both day and night options, ensuring flexibility to meet project needs. This role is crucial to the success of our operations, and we are looking for individuals who are dedicated, reliable, and ready to contribute to our team’s success.
Responsibilities
- Perform core drilling, concrete sawing, cutting, and removal of concrete.
- Utilize tools such as wall saws, core drills, and flat saws effectively and safely.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while on the job site.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in concrete cutting and tool use (wall saw, core drill, or flat saw).
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Must have steel toe leather work boots or shoes.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is required.
- Ability to lift and move 45 lbs or more.
