Concrete Finisher will build rough wooden structures such as concrete forms, scaffolds, tunnel and sewer supports, and temporary frame shelters by performing the following duties. The role involves experience setting forms, tying rebar, pouring and finishing concrete, using string line for line and level, and the ability to read rebar and form drawings. The Concrete Finisher must follow safety rules at all times and possess knowledge and ability to use various forming systems including Aluminum Gang Form, Simons, EFCO, Stick Frames, and Wood Forms. The position requires finishing assigned tasks on time with high standards of quality and having a good general knowledge of construction practices. Responsibilities also include constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood and plywood, and may involve welding metal parts to steel structural members.
