About the position
Architectural Effects in Sanford, FL is seeking experienced precasters for their precast manufacturing plant. The role involves fabricating forms, filling concrete forms, and ensuring quality assurance of finished concrete products. Candidates should be motivated to learn the trade and take pride in their work, with a focus on attention to detail and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate forms for concrete casting.
- Set and check forms for accuracy.
- Fill concrete forms with the appropriate mixture.
- De-mold finished concrete products.
- Perform quality assurance checks on finished concrete.
- Patch and repair concrete as necessary.
- Palletize finished products for storage or shipment.
- Read and interpret basic work orders for rebar and form placement.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of construction experience preferred.
- Experience in concrete forming and finishing is required.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Willingness to work 8 hours per day and open to overtime.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in decorative concrete is a plus.
- General construction knowledge is beneficial.
- Background in concrete batch mixing and pouring decorative concrete products.
