About the position

The Concrete Operation Project Engineer is a flexible and results-driven team player responsible for managing multiple projects within the commercial concrete industry. This role emphasizes operational leadership, project coordination, and effective communication to ensure that project scopes, schedules, and deliverables are met. The engineer will support management in prioritizing tasks and maintaining a disciplined work culture while also performing cost analysis and budget forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Support management/operation to prioritize multiple projects, responsibilities, and deadlines.
• Promote and maintain a culture of discipline and effective communication.
• Gain knowledge of all assigned project scopes, schedules, deliverables, and requirements.
• Assist in coordination between estimating, management, and project teams.
• Assist with planning, leadership, and coordination of all upcoming and current projects.
• Fulfill projected requirements including submittal management, coordination, and project organization.
• Perform cost analysis, budget forecasting, estimating, and change order management.
• Lead and promote specific concrete operation focus.

Requirements

• Knowledge of commercial concrete industry means and methods.
• Project scheduling and management experience.
• Leadership development and training experience.
• Higher education in business administration, architecture, construction management, construction engineering, civil engineering, or a similar field with relevant experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
