Responsibilities

• Performs all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
• Takes directions well
• Has reasonable knowledge of concrete materials, workability, finishing, finishing equipment, and curing
• Understands concrete paving formwork and doweling systems and assembly
• Influences and enforces company values and rectifies misalignments with company culture
• Performs all other duties of crew members as needed
• Completes other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Ability to travel as required for projects
• Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)

Nice-to-haves

• 2 years of relevant experience and/or training
• Experience operating heavy equipment used in highway construction
• OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
