About the position

The Concrete Plant Foreman at AmeriResource Group is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the concrete plant, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing a team, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The foreman will also be tasked with motivating team members and ensuring high-quality concrete finishing and equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the concrete plant.
• Manage and supervise crew members to ensure efficient production.
• Read and interpret blueprints for construction projects.
• Motivate and direct team members to achieve production goals.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Perform equipment repairs as needed.
• Maintain high standards of concrete finishing.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in construction.
• 3 years of experience as a foreman.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Experience with industrial equipment and concrete finishing.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with prestress concrete.
• Experience with tie bar construction.
