About the position

The Concrete Project Manager at Trillium Construction will oversee and manage commercial concrete projects in Duluth, MN, and the surrounding areas. This role is crucial for ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with field personnel, and managing project schedules and budgets effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain safety compliance program to meet and surpass regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with designated Field Personnel to ensure company vehicle and equipment fleet has proper documentation and maintenance program.
  • Prepare weekly job schedule and send to Owner, Accounting and Job Supervisors each Friday.
  • Review all daily job logs and report by next business day to Owner, Accounting and Job Supervisors areas for improvement, efficiencies, deviations from contract, etc.
  • Proactively identify, draft, and manage change orders.
  • Review all timecards for accuracy on a weekly basis each Monday.
  • Review all job-related vendor invoices, receipts, and packing slips on a weekly basis. Ensure accurate pricing and coding.
  • Coordinate and obtain accurate measurements or percentage of completion for all job-related billing on a weekly or monthly basis, as per each contract, or as needed by Accounting.
  • Work with Accounting as needed to adjust monthly WIP report.
  • Responsible for annual inventory counts. Work with Accounting to allocate to appropriate jobs or expense accounts.
  • Various projects and tasks, as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-4-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent business experience, preferred.
  • Construction industry and supervisory experience.
  • Experience with industry-related software and tools, including estimating and job costing programs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and Bluebeam or Adobe.
  • Analytical thinking, creative problem solving, and organization skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
