About the position
The Concrete Repair Welding Technician position at Tech USA involves working in the commercial concrete industry, focusing on various tasks related to concrete repair and welding. Responsibilities
- Weld low alloy metal using SMAW stick/arc welding, MIG, and/or FCAW techniques.
- Perform commercial concrete tasks including demo, rebar, form setting, pour finish, beams, and columns.
- Repair, patch, and fill epoxy in concrete structures.
- Assist cement masons and perform miscellaneous tasks such as expansion joint installation, topping, column repair, and slab upgrades.
- Follow workplace safety practices and guidelines.
- Work flexible hours with a desire for overtime and ability to travel.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in structural welding.
- Ability to work as a team player and take pride in craftsmanship.
- Ability to read a measuring tape and knowledge of power and hand tools.
- Must be safety conscious and have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.
- Prior leadership experience is helpful, along with math, computer skills, and plan reading ability.
