About the position

The Concrete Sales Estimator at Roth Staffing Companies is a detail-oriented and customer-centric role focused on the residential construction industry. The estimator will assess project scopes, prepare proposals, and provide accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for concrete foundation projects. This position requires collaboration with the sales team and building relationships with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, architects, subcontractors, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate estimates and successful completion of projects.
• Keep project stakeholders well informed and maintain thorough reporting, preparing to present to management.
• Understand and analyze project documents to inform estimating processes.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for all phases of each project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction and concrete foundation projects.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and structural project plans as well as site plans.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and bids simultaneously.
• Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
