About the position
The Concrete Superintendent - Solar is responsible for overseeing construction activities on solar projects in Petersburg, IN. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards while managing direct hire supervision and subcontractor performance. The superintendent will provide technical direction, monitor project schedules, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Interface with and monitor direct hire supervision and major subcontractor supervision.
- Ensure project requirements and expectations are met regarding craft and supervisory performance.
- Provide craft supervisors with information and technical direction required to complete projects safely and timely.
- Communicate schedule requirements to all levels of craft discipline and supervision.
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with the CPM schedule and report on progress.
- Assist craft/subcontractors in resolving problems related to drawings, schedule, quality, and safety.
- Conduct foreman/subcontractor meetings to review planning and progress.
- Develop and monitor a 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule for assigned work scope.
- Maintain a daily log for site records and review craft/subcontractor timesheets.
- Develop and distribute Job Hazard Analysis for major erection packages.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
- Valid Driver's License.
- OSHA 10 certification.

- Budget and Cost Control Skills.
- Knowledge of union agreements and jurisdictional issues.
