About The Position

The Concur Expense Auditor (Part-Time) is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of employee expense reports submitted through the Concur platform. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to review and reconcile expenses, including multi-currency transactions, in a timely and organized manner. The ideal candidate will have experience with Concur expense auditing and a solid understanding of expense policies across various currencies and international regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience auditing expense reports in Concur.
  • Basic knowledge of various currencies (USD, CAD, GBP, EUR) and their exchange impacts is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong ability to perform detailed reconciliations and review complex financial documents.
  • Comfortable interacting with various levels of personnel to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
  • Ability to understand and apply the organizational impacts of expense coding in Concur.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with a multi-national, multi-currency Concur platform is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with large-scale, international companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Audit Concur Expense Reports: Review employee expense submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with corporate policies.
  • Reconcile Expenses: Ensure all expenses are reconciled to corporate credit card records, travel records, and submitted receipts, and follow up with employees for missing information.
  • Compliance: Ensure billable expenses align with client contracts and travel policies, and ensure non-billable internal expenses adhere to corporate guidelines.
  • Currency Management: Understand and review multi-currency transactions (USD, CAD, GBP, EUR) and assess exchange rate impacts.
  • Communication: Work closely with employees to resolve discrepancies, request missing receipts, and provide clarification on policy requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and thorough records of all findings and actions related to the expense audit process.
