About the position

The Condition Monitoring Implementation Manager at Caterpillar, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting go-to-market initiatives, enhancing sales execution, and improving customer experience within the Construction Industries Services Division. This position serves as a subject matter expert in Condition Monitoring products and services, focusing on customer relationships, operational improvements, and the deployment of innovative solutions to drive growth in Condition Monitoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages customer relationships to influence equipment management strategies and assist in the deployment of Condition Monitoring solutions.
  • Conducts customer fleet inspections and site evaluations to identify operational improvements enabled by Condition Monitoring.
  • Consults customers and dealers on Condition Monitoring applications such as applied technology, machine health, and safety.
  • Collects product and customer requirements to capitalize on opportunities to grow Condition Monitoring capabilities and processes.
  • Influences the development of technology tools/systems and works with key stakeholders to deploy technologies to drive Condition Monitoring growth.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to align on timelines, understand marketing goals, and develop the marketing product roadmap of Condition Monitoring.

  • Extensive knowledge of major products and services, applying this knowledge to diverse situations.
  • Extensive experience in decision making and critical thinking, analyzing situations to reach productive decisions.
  • Extensive understanding of effective communication concepts and techniques for transmitting and interpreting information.
  • Working level knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques for constructive collaboration.
  • Expert knowledge of relationship management techniques to maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Extensive knowledge of technology and application methods to develop solutions for significant technical challenges.
  • Expert knowledge of value selling principles and practices to differentiate support offerings based on customer needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of Product Link™, VisionLink, VIMS, inspection processes, equipment lifecycle planning, S•O•S Services, and the Service Information System (SIS).
  • Prior experience with customer account management and Cat Foresight Condition Monitoring suite.
