The Configuration Management Specialist II (Change Manager) role at Semper Valens Solutions involves managing Change Management activities within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. The position requires overseeing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring compliance with policies, and facilitating various Change Management meetings. The role is critical in maintaining accurate asset management and supporting the operational efficiency of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as organization Change Sponsor and manage daily Change Management activities.
• Update all Change Management program documentation and facilitate Change Management meetings.
• Ensure CMDB data is maintained by following approved Configuration Management policies and procedures.
• Analyze CMDB data to highlight data gaps and errors and take appropriate action.
• Manage assigned CMDB users and groups.
• Develop, publish, and provide CMDB reports, establish trends, and offer recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Analyze CMDB metrics and provide metrics for all incidents and changes assigned to the organization.
• Provide guidance and training to CMDB users in support of the maintenance of CMDB.
• Validate all Asset Management deliverables including inventories and asset/configuration management baselines.
• Oversee annual inventory of all accountable devices and track product lifecycles.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience managing DoD Configuration Management programs.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Secret Clearance.
