About the position

The Configuration Manager (Technical Analyst 2) role involves supporting the research and development, test and evaluation, and program management of Signals Intelligence programs for the United States Marine Corps. The position focuses on maintaining version control for hardware, software, and documentation, while facilitating Configuration Control Boards and managing the Configuration Management Library.

Responsibilities

• Support research & development, test and evaluation, and program management of Signals Intelligence programs.
• Leverage configuration, application, and life cycle management tools to maintain version control.
• Maintain ownership of the project's Configuration Management Plan.
• Facilitate Configuration Control Boards and support the establishment of the Configuration Management Library.
• Plan and produce processes for reporting and recording changes to installed baseline equipment.
• Coordinate interactions between engineering, integration team, logistics, and program management to document changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in configuration management or logistics.
• Experience with Life Cycle Management and Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Verification and Audit, or Data Management.
• Knowledge of the software release process.
• Familiarity with Configuration Management technology operating systems, including Windows, Sybase, or Oracle based products.
• Strong working knowledge of Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO).
• Secret clearance or higher, with the ability to support up to TS/SCI.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of experience as a configuration manager supporting IT programs.
