About the position
The Configuration Manager will ensure the consistency of performance, function, and appearance of products throughout their lifecycle. This role involves managing functional requirements, design, and operational information, as well as developing migration plans and overseeing deployment. The position requires strong analytical skills and experience with configuration management tools.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Configuration Management (CM) throughout the project lifecycle, including development, migration, deployment, and security.
- Oversee the daily management of configuration items.
- Review migration plans.
- Review and update configuration management processes.
- Update facility prints.
- Archive old equipment in facility maintenance system(s).
- Develop and implement new maintenance requirements for newly installed equipment and/or systems, per the manufacturer requirements.
- Ensure training is completed and documented on all newly installed equipment and/or systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years' experience working in a similar role to a Configuration Manager.
- Experience with configuration management tools.
- Experience managing projects large and small.
