About the position

As a Configuration Senior Business Analyst - Product Implementation Immunization Registry at Gainwell, you will play a pivotal role in harnessing technology to enhance the health and well-being of vulnerable communities. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes, as you will be responsible for analyzing and documenting these processes, gathering and defining requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of solutions tailored to the healthcare industry's unique challenges. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, self-directed, and possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. This role is highly collaborative, providing support for both IT and business teams, and is essential in ensuring that Gainwell meets its clients' objectives in critical areas. Your responsibilities will include analyzing client requests for proposals, applying advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, and acting as a subject matter expert. You will adhere to and support the Configuration team’s approach and methodologies, ensuring effective communication among all key stakeholders. Exercising significant independent judgment, you will determine the best methods for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. Additionally, you may mentor and guide lower-level employees, work closely with the implementation team to document business requirements, and create test cases from functional requirements, executing and documenting results. You will also participate in technical reviews to verify that the intent of changes is carried out throughout the project. In addition to these primary responsibilities, you will analyze configuration data to isolate defects, research and define solutions for new configurations or client rules, and create proof of concept testing for new business processes. You will be expected to complete configurations within scheduled timelines and best practices, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business processes related to immunization registry.
  • Gather and define requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create configuration deliverables based on client business requirements.
  • Develop and execute test cases, documenting results.
  • Participate in technical reviews to ensure project intent is met.
  • Mentor and guide lower-level employees as needed.
  • Analyze configuration data to isolate defects and propose solutions.
  • Create proof of concept testing for new business processes or outcome requests.
  • Ensure timely completion of configurations following best practices.

Requirements

  • 6 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position.
  • 3 or more years of experience with Immunization Information Systems preferred.
  • Experience with Immunization Registry.
  • Knowledge of computer programming concepts such as configuration, development, and batch processing.
  • Advanced knowledge in analytical software such as Microsoft Excel or SQL.
  • Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills.
  • Experience with Configuration Implementation Build & Maintenance.
  • Experience working with complex systems at a detailed level.
  • Experience with Requirement Traceability Matrices.
  • Experience working in a virtual team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with DDI (Design, Development, and Implementation) and operations phases.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook).
