About the position

As a Configuration Systems Automation Analyst, you will leverage your technical expertise to address complex business challenges by defining, evaluating, and validating requirements. This role serves as a crucial link between departments, ensuring that business and technical designs align with operational needs while minimizing impacts. You will collaborate with IT to resolve issues, test new features, and manage software upgrades, contributing to exciting and impactful projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and procedural issues to the business and IT.
  • Review, analyze, and develop solutions for business systems while identifying and quantifying the business impact of those solutions.
  • Provide systems analysis expertise and consider the business implications of technology applications.
  • Coordinate ongoing user support for ad hoc questions, inquiries, and service requests.
  • Ensure efficiency of reporting and data tools for supported business areas and trend analysis.
  • Coordinate the development of system support processes with IT and resolve production support issues.
  • Work collaboratively on projects with the business and IT to test and implement long-term solutions.
  • Act as Business Lead/Coordinator on large, complex departmental and corporate projects.
  • Facilitate project intake, scheduling, implementation, and post-implementation support.
  • Serve as point of contact for business testing activities and influence testing strategy.
  • Analyze and verify results for accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
  • Provide impact assessments and make recommendations regarding issues and risks.
  • Train/coach others on appropriate testing protocol and execution.
  • Assist IT in identifying business area impacts for upgrades and changes.
  • Configure and maintain critical system tables and data elements across multiple environments.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement configuration changes to improve system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
  • 5+ years of experience in related field
  • In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field
