About the position

The Connected Laptops - Category Marketing Senior Manager at Verizon is responsible for planning and executing marketing and enablement programs for the connected laptop category within the Verizon Business Device & Device Services team. This role involves managing joint marketing budgets, collaborating with device manufacturers, and ensuring alignment with Verizon's strategic objectives. The position requires a strong background in product marketing and channel strategy, with a focus on driving business growth through effective marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leverage product marketing and channel strategy for the connected laptop category.
• Manage multiple manufacturers' joint marketing budgets and campaigns.
• Partner with Verizon marketing, branding, legal, and sales teams to meet network and sales goals.
• Work closely with device manufacturers and vendors to market solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Manage marketing partnerships with mobile compute device vendors.
• Collaborate with external vendors for joint marketing efforts including social media and events.
• Define key customer benefits and product use cases for connected laptops in various business segments.
• Support sales partners with joint customer negotiations.
• Manage Joint Marketing Fund (JMF) spending and requests.
• Drive 5G integration into the product ecosystem.
• Analyze launched marketing initiatives and develop executive presentations for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Two or more years of experience in telecommunications, sales, or marketing.
• Experience in product marketing including sales marketing.
• Ability to translate market knowledge into compelling stories and tools.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA or Master's degree.
• Experience in wireless industries.
• Strong knowledge of 5G Technology and Mobile Compute Devices.
• Ability to translate technical topics into customer-facing solutions.
• Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
