About the position

The Construction Claims Account Director at Safety National plays a crucial role in managing high-exposure workers' compensation and liability claims. This position involves developing and maintaining partnerships with clients, brokers, and third-party administrators (TPAs) to ensure effective service delivery. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with clients, brokers, and TPA partners.
  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of Safety National service capabilities.
  • Track all issues to conclusion to ensure prompt follow-through and resolution.
  • Manage overall claim services for customers in the Construction unit.
  • Oversee construction liability (GL, AL, APD) and workers' compensation claims handled by TPAs.
  • Participate in regional industry conferences to raise the company's profile.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership through participation in Safety National webinars and events.
  • Work with Claims staff on account onboarding and stewardship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; law degree a plus.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience overseeing and managing Auto Liability, General Liability, and workers' compensation claims for construction accounts.
  • Proper Adjuster Licenses in all applicable states.
  • Experience analyzing coverage issues and drafting reservation of rights and coverage letters.
