About The Position

The Construction Control Representative position at the Department of the Interior involves working within a multidisciplinary team to apply construction expertise in reviewing project scopes and developing design scopes of work. The role includes on-site inspection and coordination of construction and engineering work, ensuring projects meet design targets and cost projections. The representative will also serve as a certified Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for assigned projects, adhering to federal regulations.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• At least one year of specialized experience comparable to the GS-10 level in the Federal service, including roles such as engineering aid, construction inspector, or supervisor of construction personnel.
• Ability to operate a government or private motor vehicle as part of official duties, requiring a valid driver's license.
