About The Position

The Construction Coordinator at Henkels & McCoy West is responsible for providing administrative and functional support for program operations within the Power team. This role involves managing project deliverables, maintaining project databases, scheduling jobs, and facilitating communication between various stakeholders including clients and subcontractors. The position is integral to ensuring that projects flow smoothly from start to finish while meeting customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with PC computers and MS Office suite software required.
  • Experience with client interfacing desired.
  • Experience with learning technical applications required.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task are essential.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills- both written and verbal - required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of construction industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of assigned projects from start to finish.
  • Work with team members to ensure that internal/external customers' expectations are met.
  • Provide administrative office support as needed.
  • Submit, track and provide status on construction permitting.
  • Update Click Schedule and Internal Work Order System.
  • Establish and maintain project schedules.
  • Assist in scheduling of outages, no parks, customer contacts, and permitting as required.
  • Assist in the development process for project tracking.
