About the position
The Construction Cost Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting major construction projects valued at over $100 million. This position involves collaboration with the construction project team throughout various phases, including conceptual design, funding, execution, and closeout. The Cost Engineer will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with internal specifications and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Intel CEA on the project.
- Track costs and perform cost data entry and reporting.
- Prepare and execute construction change of scope (CCOS) and change orders (CO).
- Manage budget distribution and budget change of scope (BCOS).
- Provide detailed cost data analytics and reporting.
Requirements
- Cost accounting experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work in ambiguous situations.
- Detail-oriented team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and web applications.
