About The Position

The Construction Cost Engineer at The Walsh Group will be responsible for managing and controlling project costs for the Miami Signature Bridge Project. This role involves working closely with project teams to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and analysis of project costs, while also handling change orders and collaborating with various stakeholders to represent the financial impact of project changes.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
• 1-5 years of experience in construction cost engineering
• Experience with CMIC preferred
• Cost Accounting experience with Timberline or other cost management programs
• Ability to make confident, timely, and fact-based decisions
• Demonstrated multi-tasking experience in large teams and solving complex problems

• Collaborating with superintendents, subcontractors, and project team members to assess the impact of changes and delays on project costs
