About the position

The Construction Equipment Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all Construction Worksite Products (CWP) and Small Engine products offered by Van Wall. This role requires the technician to work under the direction of the Service Manager, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner. The technician will utilize technical manuals and special tools to perform their duties effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment as required.
• Perform reconditioning and repair of all machine systems and components.
• Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.
• Report work required on equipment to the Service Manager for proper and safe operation by the customer.
• Participate in all training programs as directed by the Service Manager.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Bring to the attention of the Service Manager any shop tools, equipment, or vehicle that is not in a serviceable condition or is unsafe to use.

Requirements

• Experience with repair of construction equipment or trucks strongly preferred.
• Associate Degree in technician program preferred.
• 2+ years experience in a related field.
• Ownership of necessary tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High School diploma required.
