The Construction Estimator at SERVPRO of Pflugerville/Stillwater/Guthrie/S Tulsa/Edmond plays a crucial role in assisting customers through challenging situations related to fire and water damage. This position focuses on establishing strong customer relationships, providing accurate construction estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the construction process. The estimator will work closely with project managers and outside resources to deliver well-defined project scopes and estimates, contributing to the overall goal of making damage restoration seamless for clients.

Responsibilities

• Establish customer relationships for construction services.
• Educate customers on the construction process.
• Work with customers to understand desired upgrades and changes.
• Ensure that estimates meet client requirements.
• Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for projects.
• Create accurate sketches and initial scopes of work for construction projects.
• Deliver consistent and well-defined initial estimates.
• Recognize project constraints and needed upgrades.
• Work with Project Manager to price bid items as needed.
• Identify and document finalized project scopes of work.
• Work with outside resources to complete accurate estimates.
• Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates.
• Deliver and communicate estimates to Project Manager.

Requirements

• 2 years previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience.
• Superb customer service track record.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced math skills.
• Proficient use of Xactimate estimating software.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with a good driving record.
• BA in engineering, construction science, or a similar relevant field preferred.
