About the position
The Construction Foreman is responsible for leading maintenance and restoration projects on residential and commercial buildings in St. Petersburg, Florida. This role involves overseeing various construction tasks, ensuring quality workmanship, and supporting the mission of Impact Social Ventures by providing apprenticeship opportunities for students from a local high school.
Responsibilities
- Lead carpentry tasks including framing, windows, doors, and stairs.
- Oversee flooring installation, including tile, wood, and carpet.
- Perform plumbing troubleshooting and repairs.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Manage HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
- Supervise fencing installation.
- Oversee drywall installation and painting tasks.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5 years of construction experience required.
- 2 years of project management experience required.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
