About the position

The Electrical Foreman at Laser Electric Inc. is responsible for overseeing electrical projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining budget adherence. This role involves collaboration with Project Managers and Foremen to promote a strong work culture and manage project schedules effectively. The Foreman will lead safety audits, maintain quality control, and ensure compliance with installation standards on all projects.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Managers, Foremen, and Technicians to promote a strong culture of safety, quality, efficiency, and excellence on all projects.
• Ensure projects stay within budget and set an example for the field crew in speech, body language, appearance, and customer relations.
• Review project schedules with Foreman & PMs and assist with scheduling manpower.
• Help layout Foreman with PMs assistance when applicable.
• Work with Foremen to find ways to increase margins on projects.
• Perform safety audits and lead safety-related investigations or plans in conjunction with the Safety Officer and third-party safety organization.
• Maintain quality control on projects ensuring installation standards are met.
• Visit projects to manage schedule and production, checking in with GC to confirm production & schedule.
• Report any issues to the Superintendent / PMs.

Requirements

• OSHA 30 Hour Training required.
• NFPA 70E Awareness Training Required.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certifications required.
• State of California Electrical License required.
• At least 5 years of Foreman level field work required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
