About the position

Holder Construction is seeking a General Foreman for a project located in Kings Mountain, NC. The General Foreman will play a crucial role in assisting Field Supervision by coordinating, managing, and supervising the field team in the execution of assigned tasks. This position requires providing front-line leadership to field associates, including laborers, carpenters, and operators. The General Foreman will also be responsible for organizing and monitoring the work of subcontractors on site, ensuring that all work is completed safely, with a focus on quality, on time, and within budget. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities, are key to success in this role. Qualified candidates will possess up to 4 years of experience in coordinating workflow for construction sites, which includes scheduling, material management, manpower coordination, and coordinating inspections. Strong communication skills and time management abilities are essential, as the General Foreman will lead with integrity and ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals. The role requires individuals to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment, be able to work outside, and be available for overtime and weekend hours. Responsibilities

  • Assist Field Supervision in coordinating, managing, and supervising the field team.
