About the position

Ardurra Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector/Engineer to join their Public Works team, primarily working remotely in Chelan, WA. This role is essential for overseeing construction activities related to water and sewer pipeline upgrades through the 2025 construction season. The ideal candidate will have experience in water and/or wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Observe that the work is completed in general accordance with the drawings and specifications.
• Conduct daily field reporting, track contractor's installed quantities, witness tests, and document test results.
• Serve as a liaison between Ardurra, the Owner, and the contractor.
• Receive direction from the Civil Engineering Manager.
• Review, log, and process Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change order proposals, general correspondence, payment applications, and other related construction administration activities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years as a construction inspector or related experience desired.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Construction Management related coursework/certifications may substitute for construction experience.
• Background in utilities construction/inspections, including mechanical and piping construction preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of water or sewer pipelines is strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with operating smart devices and computers preferred.
