About the position
GPI is seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCI), Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors (TCIS), and Transportation Construction Managers (TCM) for roadway and bridge construction projects throughout Pennsylvania. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects, contributing to the company's commitment to employee satisfaction and diversity.
Responsibilities
- Inspect roadway and bridge construction projects to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Supervise and manage construction activities on-site to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address any issues that arise during construction.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and stakeholders regarding project progress and compliance.
Requirements
- At least one year of PennDOT or Pennsylvania Turnpike or related transportation construction experience.
- Certifications in NICET, NECEPT, PennDOT Concrete, and PennDOT CDS NextGen are preferred.
