Construction Laborer

About the position

Revels Contracting Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated and reliable General Construction Laborer to join their team. This entry-level position involves extensive travel to various job sites across the southeast, focusing on healthcare construction projects, particularly medical imaging facilities. The role requires physical stamina and a strong work ethic, with opportunities for career advancement within a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters and other skilled tradesmen with various tasks.
• Load and unload construction materials and tools.
• Prepare and clean job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment and machinery.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Requirements

• Must be able to travel 100%.
• Must live within 1 hour of our corporate office in Gastonia, NC.
• Previous experience in construction or manual labor is preferred.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
• OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain.
