About the position

The Construction & Maintenance Manager will oversee the turnover of apartment units across a portfolio of 40 buildings in Miami. This role involves managing a team responsible for the reconstruction and renovation of vacant units, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining high standards for quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the timely turnover of vacant apartment units.
• Ensuring all projects comply with local regulations.
• Hiring and managing internal employees and subcontractors to complete renovation work.
• Conducting regular meetings with team members for coaching, performance reviews, and progress updates.
• Resolving any building-related issues, including HVAC and other maintenance concerns.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in construction management, specifically with apartment renovations.
• Strong computer skills and software proficiency.
• Exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
• Experience soliciting quotes from subcontractors.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
