About the position

The Construction/Maintenance Project Manager at ABCO Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of work orders and projects at customer locations, primarily in retail and commercial properties. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to coordinate with on-site technicians and subcontractors from project inception to completion. The position offers a remote work opportunity and is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in construction and maintenance management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful completion of work orders and projects at customer locations.
  • Coordinate with on-site technicians and subcontractors.
  • Plan and budget for projects effectively.
  • Manage and allocate resources and technicians on-site.
  • Monitor project progress and document all phases of work.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance and construction skilled trades (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, roofing).
  • Experience working with self-performing labor.
  • Prior project management experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Tech-savvy with comfort in using computers and communication devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage employees and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
