About the position

As a Construction Management Intern at The Ohio State University, you will support ENGIE's Capital Projects team, focusing on lifecycle and expansion projects for the university's Utility System. This internship is designed for students interested in gaining practical experience in energy infrastructure, with a work term from January 6, 2025, to May 30, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Support the Capital Projects team in lifecycle and expansion projects.
• Assist in managing project documentation and reporting.
• Participate in site visits and inspections as required.
• Contribute to project planning and scheduling activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to the position.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at The Ohio State University.
• Minimum of 1 year of completed coursework in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Experience with negotiation skills and general business acumen.

Nice-to-haves

• Interest in energy infrastructure and sustainability practices.
• Familiarity with project management software.
