About the position

The Construction Management Sr. Director at Jacobs is a leadership role focused on overseeing pre-construction and construction management for the Life Science team. This position is responsible for ensuring that construction projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with client expectations. The Sr. Director will lead a team of construction managers and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results while fostering a culture of safety and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction and construction management responsibilities for projects.
• Develop and deliver work area scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules.
• Manage and mentor a team of construction managers, safety professionals, superintendents, and field engineers.
• Collaborate with trade partners and ensure successful project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Foster team development and guide team members in their professional growth.

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in managing construction projects related to industrial and/or commercial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction processes, building systems, contract management, and project delivery methods.
• Demonstrated experience in the life science industry.
• Ability to manage a diverse team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam software.
• Understanding of travel requirements to project sites.
