About the position

The Construction Manager at Sevan Multi-Site Solutions will serve as an owner's representative, managing ongoing construction programs for retail and quick service restaurant clients. This role involves overseeing multiple ground-up projects across Texas and Oklahoma, ensuring that construction activities progress on schedule and within budget while acting as an extension of the owner's design and construction staff.

Responsibilities

  • On-site project management of construction activities
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the project team to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
  • Proactively communicate project-related issues with Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Director
  • Examine construction documentation including drawings, schedules, and scopes for completeness and accuracy
  • Review bid results, specifications, test and progress reports, and other project information
  • Confirm and verify permitting requirements related to the project or program
  • Directly manage and monitor project work in the field
  • Manage change orders diligently
  • Follow established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
  • Prepare and provide weekly status reports for projects
  • Identify and solve or elevate project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or quality
  • Represent the company in project meetings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-year degree in an accredited construction-related program or equivalent
  • 8-10 years related experience and/or training in construction project management of multi-site QSR or cafe retail locations
  • Experience in construction management of ground-up/new build projects is highly preferred
  • Experience in multi-site, regional rollout programs is highly preferred
