As a Construction Manager at Foth, you'll lead a variety of projects, engage with clients, and mentor others. This role allows you to be the face of Foth, meeting with subcontractors and taking on a leadership position. This position will be based out of our Franklin, WI office location. Responsibilities

  • Lead construction management activities, facilitating coordination between design staff and construction observers.
  • Mentor and support construction observers in resolving technical issues and providing training.
  • Manage construction schedules, particularly for municipal projects.
  • Contribute to estimating, contracting, and construction processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in planning and design activities during periods of low construction activity.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Provide valuable input during project constructability reviews.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with process start-up.
  • Coordinate equipment supply as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to specifications according to client or project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum eight years of experience in the construction field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a construction management role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in engineering principles and practices related to the design, construction, and maintenance of public infrastructure, specifically including utilities, roadways, and sewer/water facilities such as lift stations, booster stations, and elevated storage tanks.
