About the position

Northeast Power Dry is seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Manager to oversee the production department in Bridgewater, NJ. This full-time role involves managing a team of technicians responsible for mitigating property damage caused by water or mold. The ideal candidate will promote a positive work culture, provide training, and ensure efficient workflow while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff.
• Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
• Assuring mitigation jobs are completed in a timely and professional manner, supporting the department 24/7.
• Following up that projects are completed in an established timeframe and meet the customer's satisfaction.
• Hiring staff, interviewing, and meeting candidates.
• Working diligently with managers in a team setting.
• Supporting dispatch throughout the course of the week.
• Supervising and evaluating the performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers, etc.).
• Determining the number of necessary resources and managing inventory control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in management required.
• Previous management experience in the Disaster Mitigation and Restoration industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial analysis and interpretation required.
• Previous construction management experience is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in mentoring and developing management-level staff is required.
• Experience leading a staff of 50+ managers and hourly employees is necessary.
• A high degree of integrity and business maturity is essential.
• Demonstrated time management skills to manage multiple lines of business and prioritize resources accordingly.
• Highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
