Central Washington University is seeking two Construction Project Coordinator 3 to join our Capital Planning and Projects team in Ellensburg, Washington. The salary for this role ranges from $75,120 to $101,052 annually, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package offered by CWU. As a member of the Capital Planning & Projects team, the Construction Project Coordinator will function as a specialist-level construction coordinator responsible for the overall contract administration of assigned capital projects. This includes major capital projects, minor works, auxiliary projects, and some internal project requests (IPR) from pre-planning through project warranty. The role involves developing preliminary project budgets, providing cost engineering expertise, and monitoring project schedules. You will act as a liaison for the university, protecting CWU's interests while coordinating with consultants, vendors, and contractors. This includes building and verifying scopes of work, coordinating contract document development, managing construction bids, executing contracts (with assistance from a contract specialist), coordinating site mobilization, verifying conformance to scope of work, approving invoice applications, managing change orders, and overseeing project closeout.
