Lumen is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our Network Implementation Academy, a robust training program designed to equip early-career or second-career self-starters with the skills necessary for success in project management. This role is pivotal in managing complex projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines while ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of construction projects, including validating construction progress, conducting pre-construction meetings, and managing post-construction billing. This position requires a willingness to travel between construction sites and work in outdoor environments, making it essential for candidates to be comfortable in such settings. In this role, you will learn to utilize Lumen's technology, networks, products, processes, and customer service best practices to manage projects effectively. You will also collaborate with the engineering team for design reviews and issues, ensuring that all construction-related activities align with company standards. The position demands strong analytical, leadership, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be expected to maintain active communication with stakeholders, track project issues and risks, and document progress to prepare status reports.
