As a Project Coordinator at Centro Management, LLC, you will play a crucial role in assisting the project manager to ensure that construction projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. This position involves overseeing various administrative tasks, managing vendor and subcontractor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. You will be responsible for coordinating permits, contracts, and tracking project progress to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery.

  • Organize municipality records for building information for easy retrieval.
  • Research prior work permits and search for blueprints for built-ins, including electrical, sewer, and water systems.
  • Develop and maintain property locates for emergency shut-offs and save site surveys in the server.
  • Coordinate and maintain vendor relations for exterior property maintenance, submit POs, and ensure quality of work.
  • Obtain necessary work permits for projects and negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality standards and project timelines are met.
  • Identify and coordinate site inspections for plumbing and other items as assigned.
  • Gather multiple bids for review and execution for Cap-Ex projects.
  • Monitor and control project costs for deliverables and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience in project coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Experience with construction management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze problems quickly and develop practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and compliance within the construction industry.
  • Proven ability in project coordination from initial planning through execution.
