About the position

The Construction Project Coordinator will support the project management team in overseeing heavy civil construction projects in Longmont, CO. This role involves coordinating project schedules, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials, and facilitating communication between clients and team members. The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination within the construction industry and will be responsible for maintaining project documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing project timelines, schedules, and budgets with the Estimating and Project Management team.
  • Maintain, update, and distribute project schedules as directed.
  • Relay information to clients and teams effectively.
  • Oversee projects from start to finish, including reviewing project documentation and completing contracts and change orders.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with teammates and clients.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, clients, and other key stakeholders as directed.
  • Visit jobsites to oversee project progress, crew safety, and compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of construction project coordination experience or similar role (including relevant internships).
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • BSc/BA in a related field is a bonus.
  • Experience with project management software.
