About the position

The Construction Project Coordinator at PCF Construction Group is a vital role responsible for overseeing project coordination, ensuring effective communication among team members, and managing customer relations. This position emphasizes accountability, organization, and strategic feedback to meet project goals while fostering a supportive team culture. The coordinator will handle scheduling, subcontractor management, and material ordering, contributing to the overall success of construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Approve all Apprentice / Foreman clock ins and time off; adjust accordingly.
  • Communicate with intercompany subcontractors within the PCF group.
  • Schedule subcontractors, obtain bids on jobs, and create purchase orders; find new subcontractors when needed.
  • Order materials and schedule deliveries based on provided takeoff lists through vendors.
  • Prepare final invoices, ensure all change orders are approved, and close out job sites for audits.
  • Manage outward-facing customer calendars to keep them updated and inform clients of schedule changes.
  • Set schedules and run dispatch emails to keep all employees informed of requests.
  • Ensure all teams complete their weekly safety checks.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar construction field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a management position.
  • Thorough understanding of CRM systems and associated computer work.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to be a self-starter.
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and methodology.
  • Proficient in Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
