About the position

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will oversee construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budget constraints. This role requires a proactive approach to managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. The Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets, and ensuring that quality construction standards are met. In this position, you will review and interpret architectural plans and specifications, obtain necessary permits and licenses, and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Regular site visits will be conducted to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations, as well as proficiency in project management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
  • Proficiency in project management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam is preferred
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience in construction estimating is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective project coordination
