About the position

The Construction Project Engineer will provide essential construction management support to the Project Management team, ensuring smooth operations across various projects. This role involves both office and fieldwork, requiring effective communication and organizational skills to manage project documentation and assist in project execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management support to the Project Management team.
• Assist with maintaining record documents including prints, RFI's, ASI's, and PR's on Company projects.
• Provide support services to estimating and production teams on all Company projects.
• Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings in a timely manner.
• Assist with taking project photographs and maintaining the project photograph directory.
• Manage the day-to-day operations for various projects to ensure smooth workflow and timely bid completion.
• Provide positive support services to the estimating and production teams.
• Assist with material take-offs.
• Track contractor daily reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma; Associates Degree in Construction Management or related training preferred.
• Two years of experience as a Project Engineer with a construction company.
• Ability to perform mathematical and algebraic calculations, prepare take off and labor calculations, and understand the metric system and related conversions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and business information.
• Personal skills must include creativity, strong communication, organization, and leadership.
• Accuracy in all work, including computer data entry.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, work independently, and deal with stress.
