About the position

The Construction Project Engineer position at a leading General Contractor in Milwaukee offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects while supporting career growth. Responsibilities

  • Assist superintendent with on-site coordination by providing required documentation and following up with subcontractors and staff on site.
  • Responsible for preparing, submitting, and tracking submittals, ensuring they are created and approved based on specifications and drawings.
  • Act as a liaison between the superintendent and subcontractors to coordinate the delivery date of materials by analyzing the schedule and required installation dates.
  • Create, review, and process Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Attend OAC and Subcontractor meetings, reviewing, updating, and submitting required reports based on minutes and documentation.
  • Manage the close-out process, including managing punch lists and collecting all required documentation, forms, transmittals, manuals, and certifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Construction, Engineering or related discipline required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
