About the position

As a Construction Project Manager Consultant at CBRE, you will provide consulting services to clients, managing real estate projects from initiation through completion. This role involves planning, design, construction, and occupancy phases, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare project elements such as scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define project delivery resources and conduct requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team, providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule, tracking project progress and reporting status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, implementing action plans to reduce or eliminate risks.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of job discipline and related functions.
  • Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and work to build consensus among stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Energy and Sustainability is preferred but not required.
