About the position

The Project Manager will oversee heavy civil and marine construction projects, including roads, highways, and bridges, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role involves leading field operations, managing teams, and ensuring project success through effective supervision and coordination of resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all field operations on assigned projects.
• Supervise project engineers, superintendents, and foremen.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors effectively.
• Ensure quality control and safety management on site.
• Oversee day-to-day operations for construction projects valued between $5M and $100M.
• Ensure project completion is safe, on schedule, and within budget.
• Take overall responsibility for project execution, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and contract compliance.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals for design/build and public/private partnership projects.
• Monitor safety, schedule, and costs, making necessary operational adjustments.
• Interface regularly with the Construction Manager to coordinate resources.
• Represent the company professionally at meetings and industry functions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil and marine construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
