About the position

As a Construction Project Manager specializing in the hospitality and multifamily sectors, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire development process of hotel and resort projects from inception to completion. This position is based in Irvine, CA, and offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $135,000, depending on experience. You will be part of a premier hospitality management company known for its commitment to sustainable growth and innovation in the industry. Your responsibilities will include managing construction timelines, budgets, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while exceeding customer expectations. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that projects are executed according to plan and that quality standards are met. This role also provides an opportunity to mentor and lead other professionals in the field, contributing to the future of the hotel and resort industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of development projects from initial concept to final completion.
  • Oversee construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Validate the scope of work and manage any changes to the project scope.
  • Negotiate contracts and administer them effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor and report on the accuracy, quality, and progression of work.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  • Produce and evaluate value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs and efficiency.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience in the hotel and resort industry, specifically in project management.
  • Experience with ground-up construction, renovation, site work, six-frame, and podium projects.
  • Proven track record in managing hospitality, hotel, multifamily, and commercial projects.
  • Familiarity with working alongside major hotel brands such as Hilton, Marriott, and Best Western is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

  • Experience in managing large-scale renovation projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and materials.
